These images were an exercise to try and make a series of images entirely in Maya that felt like illustrations or paintings. The color images displayed here were not touched up after rendering, your seeing the raw Maya output. The black and white images were run thru one filter in Photoshop to make the pencil strokes and desaturate them. This made it harder than necessary, but at the time I wanted to master Maya rendering and try to get away from the 3D "look".

The female models, textures, and shaders were all done by me. the bike model was downloaded. These models were pre-Zbrush.
